Andrea first started working with Crossroads Community Services as an intern through Texas Woman’s University. She chose to continue her important work here as a volunteer after her internship ended.
“Volunteers, staff members and interns all work together as one big family,” Andrea says. “This work has become a passion.”
She enjoys sharing her knowledge of local partners and programs with people who need them. Andrea often researches different types of assistance services and provides these resources to Crossroads visitors.
Although she knows her work benefits countless neighbors, Andrea also appreciates how giving time makes her feel personally fulfilled. She encourages you to join her.
“Donating food feeds the body. Giving attention, affection and dignity feeds the soul and heart of those who give and those who receive,” she says. “Volunteer! You’ll be helping many people, but the greater good you’ll be doing is for yourself.”
We are so grateful for Andrea’s dedication to bettering the lives of people in her community. Thank you for your generous gifts of time!
